She Shapes Me

SHE SHAPES ME                          27 November 2017

The color blue pleases her.

It pours peace into,

her complex mind.

Challenge gives rise in her.

A big one inspires her,

to much higher ground.

The body delights her.

Deep waters frighten her.

Starry nights open

a mind

wide.

She breaks, she crumbles, she falls.

She breaks, she crumbles, she falls.

She shapes me.

As the beauty

of falling autumn leaves

boasting color,

and the quiet wonder of snow

drifting softly downward,

all fluffy

and white,

How I see her.

How I love her.

She shapes me.

As tropical waves

crashing powerfully

onto shorelines,

making way for more.

How I see her.

How I love her.

She shapes me.

A deep desire

for transformation

is born.

She follows it.

It unfolds.

Old inner dialogue,

once useful,

must make way

for fresh ideas

to bloom.

She breaks, she crumbles, she falls.

She breaks, she crumbles, she falls.

She shapes me.

Now love soothes criticism.

Self-knowing uplifts doubt.

Hope softens judgment.

She claims joy over despair.

She breaks, she crumbles, she falls,

She breaks, she crumbles, she falls,

Making way for new blue walls,

the ceilings made of

open ended sky,

funneling high vibrations

into larger, more spacious rooms.

All to please her.

She shapes me.

I love how it’s written as individual thoughts.. CJ ~ I’ve been taking Tai Chi classes at the Y and also practicing with your PM Chi… I love it and am gradually getting better… 🙂

Thanks CJ ~ I want to be proficient enough to use it as a mediation. Are you familiar with Tara Brach? She has been a huge inspiration for me.

You’ll love her… this poem is like something she would quote in one of her talks…
